Torpedo have parted ways with their CS:GO team, the organization announced Wednesday.
The news follows the team's elimination from CEVO Season 9 Qualifier 2 on Wednesday.
The majority of Torpedo's former roster has been part of the organization since August, though down Simon "downie" Storm and Erik "zende" Sundeqvist were more recent additions.
The team qualified for the LAN Final for Counter Pit League Season 2, but were immediately eliminated in their opening match in the qualifier after being defeated by Astralis 2-0.
According to a statement by downie given to HLTV, it was a mutual decision and the team will continue to play together under a new name.

The team is currently in the running in SL i-League Invitational Europe Stage 2, but they have lost their opening match in Group A after SK Gaming defeated them 2-0. They will face Escape Gaming next in the GSL group.
